Privacy Policy

Not Another Finance App is run by ReadyLabs AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation located at 701 Tillery Street, Unit 12-3390, Austin, TX 78702. ReadyLabs decides how your information is used and is responsible for it under this policy. We're based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed here. You can reach us at hello@notanotherfinanceapp.com.

What you give us

• Your email address, your mobile phone number, or both, when you join the family list or the partner list.
• If you give us your mobile number and agree to texts: a record of that agreement, including when you agreed and the exact wording you saw.
• Optional answers you choose to share after joining, like who runs the money at your house and what kind of business you have, or, for accountants and tax pros, your role and roughly how many business-owning clients you work with.
• If you ask to see our private pitch deck: your name and email address, your approximate country, each time you open it, which slides you view and for how long, and whether you reach the end. We use these only to follow up with you about Not Another Finance App, not for product updates.
• Anything you send us, like an email to our team.

What we collect automatically

• How you found us: the page you landed on, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, and the referral code of whoever shared it with you.
• Your approximate country and time zone, based on your browser and internet connection, so messages reach you at a reasonable hour. We don't store your IP address with your sign-up.
• Page analytics from Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies, such as which pages were viewed, the site that referred you, and your browser, device type and country.
• Product analytics from PostHog: the pages you view, what you click, how far you scroll, errors you run into, and session recordings of how you move around the site. Recordings never show what you type into a form, and the pitch deck page isn't recorded. When you join, we link this activity to your sign-up, and PostHog keeps the details you gave us (your email address or phone number, your answers, and how you found us) on that record. Our server also records the sign-up in PostHog, which is how our emails and texts to you get started. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, PostHog doesn't run in your browser at all.
• Technical data our hosting provider handles to deliver and protect the site, such as IP addresses in short-lived server logs. We briefly use your IP address to stop repeated sign-ups and spam, and we keep emails and phone numbers out of our logs.

On your device

After you join, your browser remembers it in local storage, so we can thank you instead of asking again. It also remembers the referral code you arrived with until you close the tab. PostHog keeps a random ID and your current visit in a first-party cookie and local storage, so it can tell visits apart. If you unlock our pitch deck, a cookie remembers that for 30 days. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Clearing your browser's data for our site removes all of it.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for bank logins, account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive financial details, and joining a list connects nothing. Please don't send us that kind of information.

• To invite you to early access when it's your turn, and tell you how it's going.
• To send you updates about Not Another Finance App by email, and by text if you asked for texts.
• To understand who's interested, like how many business-owning families or accountants join, so we build the right product.
• To see what's working: which pages, campaigns and referral links bring people in, and where the site confuses people or breaks.
• To keep the site and our lists secure, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
• To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it.

We only text you if you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything. We accept US and Canadian mobile numbers.

• What we send: texts about early access, like when it's your turn. A few texts, tops.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also opt out any other reasonable way, like emailing us.
• Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only in these ways:

• With service providers who work on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they can use it: Vercel (hosting, private storage and page analytics), Knock (keeps your contact details and sign-up answers so we can send you our early-access emails and texts), PostHog (product analytics, session recordings and a copy of your sign-up details; it also tells Knock when to start our emails and texts), Better Stack (application logs, without your email or phone number), Google Workspace (our email) and the providers that deliver our emails and texts, such as Resend for email.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, ReadyLabs or others.
• If ReadyLabs is part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal. We'll tell you before it's covered by a different privacy policy.
• With your permission.

We don't sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or give it to data brokers. If you joined through someone's referral link, we note that link's code, but we don't give your contact details to the person who shared it.

We keep your information while our early-access program runs, and delete or anonymize it within 12 months after the program ends. If you remove yourself, we delete your sign-up right away, including every email and phone number linked to it, and erase your details from PostHog. We delete the rest of what PostHog holds about you, your activity and recordings, within 30 days. If you become a customer, the product's own privacy policy takes over. Our providers keep short-lived server logs on their own schedules.

• Remove yourself anytime with the form below. It deletes your sign-up from every list it's on and any pitch deck request made with that email, erases your details from our analytics right away (your activity and recordings there go within 30 days), and stops analytics in the browser you use.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, and PostHog won't run in it.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email we send.
• Stop texts by replying STOP.
• Ask us to see, correct, delete or send you a copy of your information by emailing hello@notanotherfinanceapp.com. We may need to confirm it's you, and we'll answer within 45 days.

Depending on where you live, including Texas, California and other states, local privacy laws may give you rights such as knowing what we hold, correcting or deleting it, getting a copy, and opting out of sales, targeted advertising or profiling. We don't sell your information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, and we honor these requests from everyone, wherever you live. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out.

If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we'll respond within 60 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

We keep your information in private storage that isn't publicly accessible, encrypt it in transit, and limit access to the small team that needs it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise yours will never be breached. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the right authorities promptly.

The site and our lists are for adults. You must be 18 or older to join, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or text before it takes effect.
